Bike and Run

This morning we went on a family bike ride followed by a family run. My triathlon is coming up on Monday so this is kind of the last push in training before race day and it was great to do it all together. My legs don't seem to like running after biking, but hopefully they will get the hang of it, and I feel very blessed for Drew to make it a priority to go with me- and keep motivating me even when I just want to rest. It really is a blessing and it really does help. I always want to be better for him and for myself.

A Visiting Drive

One of my favorite parts about visiting teaching is the drive to and from our sisters' houses with my companion. I love all the kids just chattering away in the back, and I love the talks that we can have in the front with mostly no interruption. I just felt impressed today that these precious outings really do bless me more directly than I ever realized.

A Day at the Temple

Today I was able to attend the temple for hours. My mom offered to have a Grandma Day with the girls so I went with some sisters in the ward to the temple for the entire afternoon. It was so wonderful to serve in several ways and to just have the opportunity to go. I am very blessed for my Mom to let me be blessed for going to the house of the Lord.

Hugs from Jesus

I had several sweet moments today, but I think the best one was after Abigail's nap. Every day we snuggle when she wakes up and just talk together, and this afternoon when I asked her about any dreams she had she said, "Oh, I dreamed about Jesus. He loves me and he hugs me."
I just about melted. What a sweet dream and what a sweet blessing.

Friends and Family

I can feel the Lord's hand in my life by having our home constantly filled with friends and family. After church we had some friends over for dinner and dessert and then we had some family and friends over for games in the evening. It is just so great to be surrounded by people we love. It really is a blessing to me; it is a joy to fill our home with love and laughter.
