My New Favorite Sandwich

Okay, anyone who knows me knows I love to eat and basically just love all food in general. Well, today I have a new favorite- I seriously cannot stop thinking about how good it was! My sister made it for me at the sandwich shop that she works at and I didn't eat it until I was done spending hours cleaning and really working up my appetite, and then was at home in my cozy bed, and it was my last meal before fasting. I'm not sure how much all of these factors play into making it my new favorite sandwich, but it sure is. And that is my yummy blessing for today : ).

Adoption Celebration

Today a family we know became an official family. They were always a family, but now there is no doubt in the back of their minds that it could go away, now they all share the same last name, and now it is officially official. It is such a blessing for me to be associated with this dear family, to have helped them with their sweet girls, and to see the joy on their faces tonight as we celebrated the adoption. I felt very warm and fuzzy and so happy for them tonight as we joined them in their celebration. The girls just melt my heart, and kept asking, "Come on, Becca. Come on, please, Becca" to go play with them in the other room. Of course I couldn't resist and I just loved every minute of it. I am very blessed to have gotten to know them better, for having them in our home often, and to share in this joyous occasion.

Food and Friends

Tonight we had some friends over for dinner and games and it was so much fun. I realize how much I miss our casual entertaining and having friends in our home. And the biggest blessing of the evening? No, I didn't win every game, but all the kids did play together so nicely! I mean really nicely- I could hardly believe it! Five kids under five and there wasn't a single squabble or fit or problem sharing. That is a big blessing and made it extra nice for the kids to have their play time and the adults to have theirs.
