This afternoon was so fun! My Mom and I took Abigail to the zoo (Drew was home with a sick Lauren) and I decided to let Abigail pick exaclty what we did and where we went for the zoo outing. It was so fun watching her get so excited over what we were doing next and letting her be in control (something I usually hate giving up). I felt like a grandparent for the day, and less like a schedule-keeping, rule-enforcing mom that I am the rest of the time. And it was a blessing. She is a blessing : ).
