Elder Wirthlin

Today Elder Wirthlin, a beloved apostle passed away. Elder Wirthlin has been in my thoughts recently. His most recent conference address really impressed me and I've taken a deep liking to the phrase, "Come what may, and love it" that he quoted there. I was also particularly touched and felt the Spirit very strongly during his October conference talk when he began to shake while speaking. I really felt that he was a man called of God and that the things he was saying needed to be said. And they were; he persevered to finish his remarks with the loving hand of his friend, Elder Nelson to support him. I feel so blessed to live in this wonderful time and to learn from such wonderful leaders.
